Wallets I made for the Grand Kids

Wallets

When I visited Caitlin, Ryan and Nora a couple of weeks ago, I asked Ryan if he would like a wallet.  Of course he said "Yes! A red one".  I could not find cute kid's wallets and decided to sew up a few.  We plan on visiting tomorrow (Jacob will get his later) and they all can pick their favorite.  The middle zipper section is for their coins.

I'll have to give them some of my "business cards" to fill their wallets!

Sewing up a Haunted House

My embroidery class is a lot of fun (and work)!  And I am certainly learning a lot!  Here is a finished Haunted House, which was our June project.  In July we are to make an embroidered ironing board caddy, but I may make a pillow case instead.
Here is the photo!  The crescent moon and lightning in the sky are not embroidered, but everything else is.  Check out the skeletons walking on the roof tops and the spooky eyes in each window.  I think the little cat by the pumpkin is the cutest.

New Upholstering Project

So the history of this sweet table and chairs is that a few years ago when my parents were visiting in Michigan, they saw this in the parking lot of the place they were staying at.  They thought someone was in the process of moving in, but by night time it was clear that this cute set was destined for the dumpster -- so it was recovered.
I've been meaning to change out the white cushions, and finally did that -- ENJOY!! (P.S. Cost was zero - got fabric from Grow Benzie)

Having a Valentine's Tea at my church this afternoon.  I made this cute fascinator as a hat.  Also made a Valentine's Day winter coat for a special doll of Caitlin's.  ENJOY
